Pediatric Accident and Emergency.

As long as the temperature is going down with the help of paracetamol and the respiratory rate stays the same, we might as well stay at home. But as soon as the breathing becomes difficult we go to the hospital to get Ventolin or similar. She gave me various tips on what to look out for on Abbe – the neck, tummy etc – to see if he needed help.

I gladly avoid A&E. Having spent all those hours there – usually nighttime – I’d rather check Abbes breathing once every half hour, to avoid having to go there.
